Collar City Collective is a collaborative effort born from a shared passion for urbanism and design.

Established by Neil Pelone, Dylan Turek and Idan Sasson in 2014, the company originally started as a real estate investment group in Troy, NY. Today, the company's focus is to combine our separate areas of expertise into one fluid design, development and asset-management process.

Neil Pelone is the founder and principal of the boutique design studio Neil Pelone Architecture – www.nparch.com, established in Troy in 2009. As a licensed architect and LEED accredited professional, Neil has developed a reputation for creating innovative and practical designs for the projects he works on, bringing a focus on urbanism and sustainability in architecture. Project experiences include hospitality, custom residential, multi-family residential, master planning and commercial work with a focus on adaptive reuse.


DYLAN TUREK, DEVELOPMENT & design

Dylan Turek is a trained urban planner with over 10 years of experience in real estate sales, marketing and project management. Dylan began his development career locally with the Rosenblum Companies as development manager before leaving in January, 2015 to focus on starting Collar City Collective. With a creative eye for opportunity and design, his approach is focused on developing simple and effective projects that positively influence the individual user and larger community alike.


IDAN SASSON, CONSTRUCTION & Property services

Idan Sasson brings incredible depth, skill, and problem-solving abilities to every job site. Idan is an expert carpenter with over 15 years of experience building, renovating and maintaining rental units in Brooklyn, New York City and the Capital District. Most recently, Idan managed the construction of 24 luxury condominium units in 17 Chapel, where he and Dylan first worked together. With expertise in residential and commercial construction and a bulldog's mentality against cutting corners or accepting any work below his high standards, Idan leads Collar City Construction's efforts.


DANIEL BLUMBERG, DEVELOPMENT

Daniel works with an impressive portfolio of clients across the real estate and hospitality fields as an adviser, investor and entrepreneur. Daniel has represented both foreign companies and individual accounts in all aspects of real estate in the U.S. market -specializing in analysis and site selection through purchase and leasing of assets. He successfully repositioned 55 Nassau Ave. in Williamsburg, Brooklyn from an industrial site to a prime retail space. At GFI, he worked on the leasing team for 470 Vanderbilt Ave., a 660,000 SF project in its conversion from a data center to a mixed use office and retail complex and 144 North 8th St. with over 20,000 SF of retail space. He has contributed to both BBC America and RTL on the state of the New York Real Estate Market and now advises and supports Collar City Collective's development efforts in the Capital District market.

Daniel is also a founding partner of The Cabana Restaurant Group as well as the award winning restaurants Tocqueville, FARO and 15 EAST. Currently, he is actively working with the One Five Hospitality Group as they expand  BOTEQUIM, THE FOURTH and SINGL in the new Union Square Hyatt Hotel.


Kristin Jackson, Property Services & Troy Flea Market

In 2016 Kristin Jackson partnered with Collar City Collective to continue the management and ownership of the Troy Flea Market after friend and Flea Founder, Jessica McEnaney moved out of the area. Having lived and worked in Troy for the last decade, her passion for the local community and experience assisting with music festivals made for a great collaboration. “I love this city!" gushes Kristin. "I love the people, the restaurants and the markets. I want to bring people to Troy and we will keep the focus on fun, kitschy, beautiful, eclectic and weird things."  

As Manager of Property Services, Kristin oversees many aspects Collar City Collective's portfolio, included property management and leasing services.
